Other materials include photos of McGuinness and others in government; family photos; clippings; and correspondence, many letters of gratitude or requests for favors, from colleagues in government and organizations such as the New York City Department of Parks, the St. Patrick's Day Parade and Celebration Committee, Disabled American Veterans, and the New York Committee of the National War Fund. Condolence letters and telegrams to McGuinness' widow and son are included.

The Wyckoff family was a prominent Brooklyn family descended from Pieter Claesen Wyckoff, one of the most influential leaders during 17th-century settlement in New Amsterdam.
